Melinda Bush is one of the industry’s most well-known and respected experts on the issues affecting the hotel, resort and tourism industries.

As CEO of HRW Holdings/Hospitality Resources Worldwide LLC, Mrs. Bush and her colleagues assist hotels, resorts and suppliers in their market development and investment activities with a focus on the Luxury marketplace. Some of HRW’s venture partnerships include Attract China, the leading gateway for reaching the Chinese Traveler; BlueRidge Trust, the California based residential and hotel development company; Careington International, a Dallas-based marketing company with a focus on healthcare, insurance and travel related services. Current and past clients of Hospitality Resources Worldwide include such prestigious firms as The Carlyle Group Realty Fund, Accor Hotels-North America, Felcor Lodging Trust, Hilton Hotels, Canyon Ranch Resorts, Expedia, Trillium Corporation, LaQuinta, to name a few. HRW’s consulting division, Hospitality Resources Worldwide, projects range from market expansion customer development programs to strategic joint ventures and partnerships centered on building sales relationships within major hotel and resort brand sectors.

In 2017,  Mrs Bush joined Real Estate Development consulting firm, the Panorama Group, Inc. as the Vice President of the Hospitality Division, which works closely with the other Panoram divisions to produce a “concept through operations” service. Projects range from working with developers on their hotel, brand and operator affiliations… to capital and debt sourcing for development and acquisitions, as well as building and implementing tourism strategies for destinations.

Mrs. Bush is an early, founding investor in Thayer Ventures’ Funds I and II and serves on a number of public and private corporate boards, including the Board of Advisors for Thayer Ventures II Portfolio Company, Viridis Learning. She is also the Founder and Chairman of Heroes in Hospitality, a private & public industry initiative aimed at training and hiring returning veterans for jobs within the hotel industry.
