Greg Dollarhyde is the former Executive Chairman of the Board & CEO of ZOES KITCHEN, a previously NYSE-listed, fast casual Mediterranean concept headquartered in Dallas, with more than 250 restaurants. As Chairman, he led the board in the IPO of Zoes in 2014 and in negotiating the sale of the company to Ron Shaich and Cava in November, 2018. Dollarhyde recently joined the board of EXTHERA MEDICAL, a company currently preparing to undergo clinical trials in the US after receiving its Eurozone CE mark for commercializing an extracorporeal device that removes blood borne pathogens. Greg is a current director and former Chief Energizing Officer of VEGGIEGRILL, a plant-based restaurant chain offering craveable plant-based food, and recently joined the board of directors and led an investment by Dollarhyde Investment Group IV in BLAZE PIZZA, LLC, one of the fastest growing restaurant companies in North America.
Dollarhyde has received the honor of “Mentor of the Year-2015″ from industry HR leader, Elliot Associates, and has been recognized in the “Power 50″ of the restaurant industry for two years in a row by Nation’s Restaurant News.
Formally, Dollarhyde was an angel investor and Chairman of the Board of RIOT GAMES, a multi-billion dollar, MMORPG gaming company headquartered in Santa Monica, CA that is currently owned by TENCENT in China.
Through Dollarhyde Enterprise Group, Greg is looking to support, counsel and invest in entrepreneurs that are chasing their American dream. Current significant investments include Lazy Dog Restaurants, Veggiegrill, Blaze Pizza (recap), Starbird Chicken (lead Angel), B Cellars winery (co-founder), Ex-Thera Medical, CPG startup TeaRIOT (Lead Angel), and UBER.
