Stephen currently holds the position of Managing Director of the Consumer Marketing Group for Walker Digital in Stamford, CT where he is responsible for developing business opportunities based on Walker Digital’s 600+ patented gaming and marketing innovations.
Most recently, Stephen held the position of Vice President of Loyalty Marketing for MGM MIRAGE in Las Vegas where he was responsible for the Players Club loyalty program, enterprise customer databases, consolidated reservations center, consumer privacy, emerging gaming and marketing technologies, co-branded credit card, marketing partnerships and multi-property events. Previously, Stephen was Executive Director of Special Projects, where he invented and implemented the MGM MIRAGE Players Club, the company’s multi-resort gaming loyalty program.
Stephen has an extensive background in marketing and systems technology design and integration within the hospitality industry. As Project Manager in Information Systems, Stephen was responsible for the opening of the Bellagio and Beau Rivage casinos. Additionally, Stephen held a variety of technology positions at Mirage Resorts and developed and patented an innovative video concierge system for slot machines.
Other positions Stephen has held include Regional Manager for StamiNet, a technology development company and VAR located in Costa Mesa, California, General Manager for Network Interoperability Consulting in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and positions with IBM and New Mexico State University. Stephen graduated from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.
Stephen currently serves on the board of Capton, a provider of liquor monitoring systems to the hospitality industry, is Chairman of ThinkTek, a Las Vegas based intellectual property development and licensing company, and is a partner in deBotech, a carbon fiber manufacturer in North Carolina.
